The Danish design organization INDEX: Design to Improve Life from Copenhagen has unveiled 60 finalists for INDEX: Award – the world’s largest design award. The finalists have been chosen from almost 1,000 nominations from 78 countries, and they ALL have the ability to improve the lives of people all over the world.
Among the 60 finalists, the International INDEX: Jury are currently finding the five winners of INDEX: Award 2011. Each winner receives €100,000 or $145,000 at a grand award ceremony in the Copenhagen Opera on September 2nd. The finalists for INDEX: Award 2011 hails from all over the world: From Bahrain and Iran to Israel, from Norway to Rwanda, from Mexico and USA to China and Korea and from India, Malaysia and Indonesia to Denmark.
