10.10.10 Global Day for Climate Action Petaluma, CA

Join DailyActs.org in Petaluma to sheet mulch the front lawns at both the fire station and police station, saving the city money, water, and emissions, while educating and empowering residents. Now is the time to sheet mulch your own lawn and plant a fava bean cover crop, so come Sunday to learn the techniques for sheet mulching, then organize a block party and do it with neighbors and friends at home. Email Erin to participate in these incredible actions on the 10/10 weekend. We need you!

Visit sonomacounty.golocal.coop for more info.

When: Sunday, October 10th, Petaluma
Arrive: 8:30. Event runs from 9am to 1pm
Where: Petaluma Police Station, 969 Petaluma Blvd North

Bring your water bottle, hat and sunscreen, and extra tools if you have them (wheelbarrows and mulch forks especially)

Please RSVP! Email Erin so we know how many “hard-working hands” to expect!
